No problem. Also reviews keep coming in so it could change, but I think they'll still end up only a few points apart.
I watched my gf play Outlast and I played some of it too. It was "okay". My biggest quirk with the game is that you could just run and run until you find where you need to go next. Then just respawn and sneak past. Where as with Alien I am excited that you have to be sneaky and smart.
As appealing as it is to me I don't think they would go with the evil cannon. If you look at SS trophy data way more people ended the game good. Just like Infamous 2 and the developers said they accepted the good ending because that's what most people did.

Not really sure where you are getting that. I'm not a fan of metacritic, but I do believe it gives a good at a glance look.
That being said both Alien and Outlast sit at an 80.

That really bothers me. I'm not ignorant enough to try and argue that games or film is inherently better at story telling. It comes down to personal tastes and opinions.
But to argue that they cannot reach the level of film or that character is impossible to connect with. After 25 hours of playing RDR you can bet your ass I felt connected to the character. After playing Beyond 2 souls you definitely feel for the characters. Playing TLOU and no...

900p is 69% of the pixels of a 1080p image.
Normally I wouldn't comment on something like this, but I feel like you're not being very accurate.
Sure 180 lines of resolution does not seem like that much, but that's only a small part of the story.
1080P (1920*1080) pixels is a pixel count of 2,073,600
900P (1600*900) pixels is a pixel count of 1,440,000
That's a difference of 633,600 pixels or an increase of 44% over the X1.

Actually according to the latest PlayStation Blog podcast where they talk about the game, they say that the game takes place over 1 night so it raining for 1 night is completely realistic.
Anything under $300 would be great IMO. Here's to hoping lots of games adopt it.

I don't know what kind of strange classification you all use, but to me MULTI-plat means (surprise) Multiple Platforms. Whether it's PC, PS3, PS4, 360, X1, Wii, Ds, vita, mobile, etc.
I suppose you could say TF is brand exclusive: xbox, windows. Both MS, but it is on more than one platform. That's not really debatable. If there is somewhere I can play TF besides X1 (there is) then it's not exclusive.
